I’ve researched the graphic arts made in 16th and 17th century to develop my own visual identity.
All the elements were created to evoke a classic look.
The initials CG were created in the same grid system used in the construction of Romain du Roi (a typeface designed for King Louis XIV).
I’ve selected the typeface Calendas Plus to use on my stationary and portfolio. The serifs have a humanist stroke that recalls an elegant calligraphic feel.
Red is the main color used throughout the identity. Beige colors are applied as secondary colors.
